The Re*covr™ team has extensive experience with designing and building feedstock production plants with extensive inhouse construction and engineering capabilities of its own manufactured equipment. The future is in utilizing various feedstocks not considered in the mainstream and include converting organic waste into high-quality protein. Algae, wheat bran, rice husks, sugarcane molasses and fruit and vegetable waste are future targets including bakery by-products that can be recycled as livestock feed. Using food waste for animal nutrition not only diverts waste from landfills but also contributes to resource efficiency in food systems. Plant-based proteins, peas, lentils, chickpeas, and lupins, offer an abundant and sustainable source of protein for livestock.
Depending on the source material and application, the Recovr™ process has demonstrated the potential to increase nutrient levels by up to 50 points or more, transforming underutilized biomass into higher-value feed ingredients.
